Was She Really Miming The Song?

When Cheryl announced to perform her comeback track Call My Name for the first time last 26/05 at The Voice UK's Semis I was totally thrilled that I couldn't wait for the 26th to arrive that I would even trade myself to Satan just to get a passport for a time travel to just see a glimpse of a history to be made. I've been checking YouTube every hour when the date came in since I don't have clue when would be the airing of the show. After ages of waiting it finally came out on YouTube. When I first watched it, I was just thinking how majestic and stellar the performance was. For the entire time I was letting myself absorb the euphoria madness this Geordie lass gave me. I couldn't believe myself that the Queen had finally arrived to satiate the empty guns of her faithful soldiers. Getting axed from the bigtime floppage X Factor USA lost my hope and interest for Chez's historic US debut. Couple of months ago she showed interest working with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris to produce a dance smash. The end product? Call My Name which many critics commented to it being generic and dull. I don't really give a shit, I love the song, everytime I listen to it even though it reminds me of the Mortal Kombat beat. And I love Chezza so even if she sings Friday from Black I would still stan for her.
Going back to the debut performance of the song, after days of endless YouTube replay of the llive performance I am now more than convinced that she was really miming the whole time. Couple of things, the mic was too close to her mouth the whole time, when the song ended she was trying to say something but didn't realise that the mic was eventually off, taking a good look at her lips everytime she sings the lyrics gives me a shitty notion that no matter how high the notes were and no matter how different the beat was her lips still looked somewhat awkward and stiff and lastly there were few instances that there was the music playing with the someone singing but her mouth was either close or was too contrived for words to come out of it, especially in singing this type of song.
The only thing that I couldn't seem to work out was why would she do this if she can eventually dance and sing at the same time. She was able to brilliantly perform Fight For This Love and Promise This without miming considering the fact that these songs were harder to sing. To see it yourself, have a look to the three performances;

Anyway, whether she did mime or not the performance was still lovely and fun. The best part of the performance was apparently the interview with Holly as we finally heard her lovely voice ( I am just being silly). The talk with Holly was so refreshing and it was completely cool to finally listen to her voice again saying stuff.

[Review] Chris Brown - Sweet Love

After the stellar success of F.A.M.E. which won Brown a Grammy last 2011, nothing will eventually stop him from giving the world hits after hits. Well, we all know for a fact that Brown is nothing but all talent and clean swag but his music has always fascinated me since he was just 16, out there doing some crazy stuffs. Brown is about to release his upcoming album Fortune which had already brought us the smash Turn Up The Music which debuted Top 10 on US HOT 100 Billboard Charts. I do believe that that track alone could stir fans enough to make everyone buy his new CD. It's a must buy so I would definitely grab me some copy.
The follow up track Sweet Love is a slow jam R&B ballad that displays elements of electronic music.

The best word to describe the song is SEXY. When it came out on a release few weeks ago, I definitely got hooked into it. I remember someone reviewing the song noting its sexiness to be an "...auditory pornography". Now, a lot of R&B stars have been trying to master this side of world but then no one puts it better than Breezy. The lyrics might not be that poetic in intent cause we all know for fact that the song screams out SEX from start to end, but then those were the perfect words that we have to hear to accompany the sexy electronic beats. The MV came out days ago and it was a complete stunner. It was basically just showing Brown chase Selena, or a girl that looks like Selena, then when they finally got the chance to hold each other in a room they're trying to give us orgasmic pleasure while watching it, but you know what, why was it raining on the hotel room? I don't have a clue. But it was cool and was definitely steaming sexy.

[Review] Sabi ft. Wale - Where They Do That At

I so love Sabi. I've been stanning Sabi since she was like with The Bangz, though the music The Co-Stars gave them were shit, I still kept on rooting for this young and sultry American chick. Her collaboration with Cobra Starship last 2011 was a huge success producing the smash You Make Me Feel... which reached Top 5 in Australia, NZ and Canada and 7 in USA. Finally, she was given a material last year with a very dramatic pop ballad with some dubstep going on titled Wild Heart. I was expecting that it would really be a total bomb but then I love the song. I've been playing it up until now everytime I wanted to sleep but couldn't cause I maybe thinking of something or someone then I would go grab my ear plugs and play this beat and lypsinch to it with all the raw emotions it need especially with the bridge part, now that is too douche! But I love listening to it while I'm having me some cathartic let go of something that rips my soul off.
This year she's able to collaborate with Wale with the brand new Dr. Luke, Cirkut-produced track "Where They Do That At? I know that this review might be too late since the song was officially release last April, but who cares? When I first had the song downloaded and listened to it I was eventually supadissed and I was totally abhorring it but then a couple of weeks later, I accidentaly played it and it was like 3AM on my way home. I was like "this song is dope", finding myself drawn to it the whole time I was inside the bus and I was moving my head and shoulders grooving and snapping my fingers and them people were like staring at me like I stole their chicken salads. But it was so cool, this is the kind of beat that I need. The beat maybe dated but I am digging it. The song could be on an Aaliyah 2003 album and the MV is perfection. It absolutely give justice to the song although it was very obvious that they just spent some pennies on it.

What Time?

It is currently 3:01 AM (Manila Time) and I am completely clueless what to do with my friggin' life. I'm facing the PC Monitor for the last 5 hours after I did work and still I've go nothing to do. Well, technically I've been listening to Sabi's Where They Do That At literally for 100 replay button times. I would just like to feel like I am chuffed to bits everytime but then no matter how hard I try to not think about my predicaments in life it just never seem to happen. I need a life! I need someone in my life! To tell you honestly guys I would never deem before that I will be what I am now. I don't know, I think I just need to let it all out and apparently 9GAG made a good job in making me laugh for a bit but then the pain never go away. The pain lingers like it doesn't have any plan of departing my poor and sour soul. I basically don't know what have I done wrong in my life that I need to face these shitload of burdens in life. Excuse me for a bit but I think I am just finding someone else to blame about this but since I couldn't think of any then I need a very good excuse to justify that it's not me responsible for all this unnecessary drama. Oh My God, I'm now gonna' be certified irrelevant if ever I'd click the Publish button of this page. I so hate my self.
